Eurovision! Finally.

Should I name the bag Daisy or Poppy?

I finally got to watch Eurovision. I wish I would have had the day off this year but I didn't so I just watched it the Monday after. Time will tell what gets replayed, but for me Ukraine was a stand out favorite but I have been singing Bara Bada Bastu all day in my head. I did have someone to talk about it with this year, as my friend in Finland watched it, but she isn't a huge Eurovision nerd and most of the music is not to her taste. Since Masquerage got cancelled it's my new fav day of the year. I really wish I could have a Eurovision party but don't know anyone that would participate. So it's just a party of one and a dog. My favs did not score well for the most part this year. And having Isreal participate has been fucking up the scoring for years now. Bringing politics into the song contest or spending advertising money on the public vote is just gross. I am glad Austria eeked out a win. Isreal's entry had a lovely voice but the song was meh.

This was the year for the curvy blonds too. I cannot be the only one who noticed how similar some of the ladies looked.

Over all I will be listening to the playlist for a while, but I know Sweden and Ukraine will be played a lot this year. Come to think about it - I have liked Ukraine's entries a lot over the years.

My car is having its hood repainted, so I have been cruising around in a rental. I asked them for the smallest veh they had. What did they give me? A Dodge Charger. I look like I am a middle aged man trying to pick up 20 year olds. Or maybe I am a get-away driver. It's huge and not build for short fatties. lol. I do admit the back up camera and connection to my phone are awesome - parking not so much. I miss being able to zip into a spot without thinking too hard.

It's been a decent day. I got the most adorable purse shaped like a snail. Also a duck took a shit in the parking lot at work right in front of one of the cop's cruisers. We thought it might be a dog or a person - but on playback - duck. One of the officers made a video of it to "Fuck the Police". My job is rarely boring for long.
