Free Motion

Today I was able to do my very first attempts at Free Motion quilting. Silly ones? yeah. But here they are! That's about the only thing I have gotten done this "weekend". I spent a good portion puzzling and sleeping and trying to decide what kind of garb to wear to the rennaissance festival this year. I am going to try to make it mostly on my own now that my usual costume party is no longer. RIP Masquerage. I figure it is time to create my sock troll personality. Maybe I will even be able to do some blind contour portraits of people. It's time to start practicing blind contour skills - I know it's a gimmick but I used to be able to do a pretty decent blind contour and it would be cool not to mess it up TOO terribly every time.

But first stop - a pair of quirkly bloomers. I have enough fun cotton prints to make something really patchworky and fun.

But I guess first - it's going to work. meh. Reall life.
